This in-person 3-day training course is on the use of the new edition of ISO/IEC 17020 Conformity Assessment – Requirements for boies poerforming inspection to accredit inspection bodies. Note the training course may be using the ISO/IEC FDIS 17020 version of the revised standard. The course will also cover relevant ILAC requirements, including ILAC P8:11/2023 and ILAC P15:05/2020. The course is kindly hosted by Standards Malaysia.
The facilitators will provide insights on the content and changes in the new revised edition of ISO/IEC 17020 and how this type of accreditation is conducted. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions.
Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of inspection bodies or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme.
The expected outcomes for the participants is to finish the event with a greater degree of knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, including shared experiences, ideas and examples of how other organizations are applying this topic. It is expected participants will take home and disseminate the knowledge that they have gained to their own organization, colleagues and other stakeholders.
