This in-person training course will take place on 2-4 December 2024 in Muscat, Oman and is for APAC Member personnel and APAC Evaluators. The training course is kindly hosted by GAC (GCC Member States). No remote participation is available.
This 3-day training course will cover the use of ISO 17034:2016 General requirements for the competence of reference material producers to accredit reference material producers (RMPs). From an accreditation perspective, the course will also cover the new ISO 33400 family of standards from ISO/TC 334 Reference materials, relevant ILAC policy and guidance documents, and APAC TEC1-008 APAC Guidance on Accreditation of RMPs.

This 3-day training event will be immediately followed by a mandatory 2-day APAC RMP Evaluator Workshop on 5-6 December 2024 at the same venue. APAC RMP Evaluators can register for that workshop using the separate event registration website. A travel subsidy will be available to APAC RMP Evaluators to attend the 2-day evaluator workshop on 5-6 December 2024, and also the 3-day accreditation of RMP training on 2-4 December 2024 if required.
